BAEKHYUN brought his first-ever solo world tour ‘Reverie’ to Singapore at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 1 November for an unforgettable evening that felt both intimate and cathartic. Marking the tour’s final stop, the concert carried a comforting sincerity as BAEKHYUN encouraged fans to cast away any stress and negative feelings through their time there. True to his words, he seamlessly blended a mix of dreamy melodies and vibrant songs, all carried by his soul-soothing vocals that filled the stadium with warmth and joy.

Kicking off with his 2018 hit “YOUNG”, BAEKHYUN wasted no time in setting the stage ablaze. Transitioning effortlessly into “Ghost” and “Pineapple Slice”, he commanded the stage with effortless precision of strong vocals and sharp choreography. From there, he took fans on an enthralling journey through a carefully curated setlist that spanned from his solo debut to his latest album, Essence of Reverie, showcasing just how much his artistry has evolved over the years. Some of these songs included “Underwater”, “Bambi”, the more emotional “Love Comes Back”, as well as fiercer, darker tracks like “Cold Heart” and “Psycho”. From smooth R&B grooves to vibrant pop anthems, BAEKHYUN has definitely demonstrated the depth and diversity that have come to define him as a solo artist.
A heartwarming highlight came when BAEKHYUN reflected on how his perspective on life has grown through this 29-city world tour. He shared that feeling the love from fans all around the world has broadened his worldview and deepened his appreciation for the people who support him. Despite jokingly calling himself a ‘homebody’, he said that he is now more inspired to discover more matjibs — a Korean term for ‘restaurants known for delicious food’ so that he can recommend them and connect more with fans. He also expressed his excitement to have Singapore’s famous chilli crab after the concert!

Throughout his ments, his trademark playful charm also shone through as he bantered with fans, drawing much laughter with his insistence that he’s “not cute” but “manly”. He also playfully teased the crowd about their dance moves during “Candy”, telling them to “practise more” because there will be plenty of future chances to meet again.
During the encore, he reappeared wearing a flower crown, delighting fans as he pulled out an EXO lightstick and got the fans following along with his movements as he sang “Garden in the Air”. Swirling, waving and spinning it with pure joy, he transformed the stadium into a dazzling sea of synchronised lights, uniting everyone in a shared, magical moment.

With such a vast discography spanning 13 years, it was impossible to perform every fan favourite. To give fans a special treat, he presented a medley including “Beautiful”, “Late Night Calls, “Take You Home”, and “Dream”. He even performed the intense and high-energy track “Paranoia” for three times consecutively, as the crowd erupted into loud cheers each time.
Before closing the concert with “Amusement Park”, a surprise fan project video played on the big screen, with the entire stadium shouting “BAEKHYUN-AH, SARANGHAE!” — a perfect, touching ending that lingered in the hearts of everyone.
